After four days of hosting the nation’s top track and field athletes, the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships came to a close Sunday afternoon. Here are some of the story lines of the meet:
Galen Rupp won a seventh consecutive title in the 10,000 amidst a doping controversy.
Jasmine Todd clinched a spot in the IAFF World Championships.
Nike Oregon Project’s Matthew Centrowitz won a third national title in the 1,500.
Rupp and Eric Jenkins faced off in the 5,000.
Jenna Prandini won a national title in the 200.

The Eugene Emeralds won 7-1 over Tri-City Friday night and Jae-Hoon Ha extended their winning streak to four on Saturday. On Sunday, though, the Ems lost to the Dust Devils 8-2. Their series with Tri-City continues Monday and Tuesday.

Oregon women’s basketball will have two new faces next year in Mallory McGwire and Kat Cooper.
