The University of Oregon is hiring. After a long search for a new president and the hiring of Michael Schill, UO still isn’t done.
In an email to staff sent out Tuesday, interim president Scott Coltrane announced that the Dean of the Lundquist College of Business, Kees de Kluyver, is leaving the university to pursue research and teaching. Kluyver’s leave is effective September 15, 2015.
In the same email Coltrane said that the university is currently looking to fill five deanships from the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Journalism and Communications, the School of Architecture and Allied Arts and the Lundquist College of Business. The university is also searching for a new Vice President for Research and Innovation.
“We will launch the searching promptly with the goal of having all five positions hired and integrated by the beginning of the 2016 school year,” Coltrane said in the email. “As search committees are formed and the process advances, we will invite you to participate in the process.”
