– For the second season in a row, the Ducks have landed one of the top Big Sky Conference quarterbacks in the country. As first reported by Fox Sports’ Bruce Feldman, coveted Montana State signal caller Dakota Prukop will head to Oregon next season as a graduate transfer.
– Prukop’s transfer announcement put the Oregon program in the spotlight once again. After a successful 2015 campaign by fellow FBS transfer Vernon Adams, Prukop’s decision caused a flurry of reactions on Twitter to Oregon’s repeat use of the graduate transfer rule.
– The Oregon men’s basketball team bounced back from a two game losing kid with a 78-63 home win over UC Irvine Tuesday evening.
– Jillian Alleyne recorded her 25th straight double-double and helped Oregon improve their record to 9-0 with a 95-81 home win over UC Riverside on Tuesday.
– The PAC-12 Conference released its 2016 schedule on Tuesday. In addition to three non-conference games, Oregon will face what should be a tough four-game stretch in November that could make-or-break their season.
– Oregon standout Kat Cooper, a transfer from Boston College, has provided a versatile spark off the bench for the Ducks this season.
