Take a Minute is a daily post that will catch you up on Internet happenings on campus and around the world.
Deion Sanders hasn’t exactly been a model of domestic bliss lately. His wife is in the middle of suing him for $200 million (what he compares to “suing a homeless dude for a burger and some fries”), and his new reality show is bound to eat into his time as a father. But things at Casa de Sanders took a trip for the weird Monday afternoon, as Neon Deion live-tweeted being jumped by his ex-wife and her friends.
Pray for me and my kids now! They just witnessed their mother and a friend jump me in my room. She’s going to jail n I’m pressing charges!

If you’ve ever wondered where to draw the line regarding what to put on Twitter, I’d look somewhere around real-time domestic abuse. Here are some more reactions:
there’s no good reason for deion sanders to be tweeting and twitpic’ing this ordeal. how traumatizing for his kids. they’re also victims.

“Yo dog take this picture while I fill out this report” Deion Sanders

If you watched the Lakers and Thunder battle through two overtimes, you probably saw this unfold. Watching it live, it really didn’t look like Metta World Peace hit James Harden that bad. The replay doesn’t lie, though. Metta turns Harden into a living bobblehead. He’s since showed concussion-like symptoms, and we’re awaiting word on what kind of punishment, if any, the league will levy on World Peace.
How did MWP react?
I just watched the replay again….. Oooo..My celebration of the dunk really was too much… Didn’t even see James ….. Omg… Looks bad

Sure, and the Malice in the Palace was a similar misunderstanding, I’m sure.

In the holy-crap-cool category, here’s a photo of David Bowie, Iggy Pop and Lou Reed. You have to imagine cocaine in this room somewhere.

“Call Me Maybe” is so over, and “Friday” is a blissfully distant memory. Here’s the next thing you will hate with a passion. It’s truly heinous.
