The Ducks trailed the Cougars for the game’s first 35:55 until senior forward Amanda Johnson hit a three-pointer to give Oregon a 58-56 lead. The Ducks extended their lead to 60-56 on a pair of free throws by Johnson, but the Cougars scored the next five points to retake the lead, 61-60. Johnson led Oregon with 23 points, Ariel Thomas added 13 and Jasmin Holliday scored 12. Center Carly Noyes scored a team-high 12 points for Washington State and was one of five Cougars in double-figures. Guard Jazmine Perkins grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds, part of a dominant effort for Washington State on the glass. (The Cougars outrebounded Oregon 49-35.)
