After a week-long campaign by the ASUO to create an unbiased and educational platform about the EMU referendum, the votes have been counted and the referendum passed.
About 4,006 students voted, with 54 percent voting in favor of the $69 fee per student, per term.
“We will still have to present it to the president. He will then present it to (the Oregon University System Board),” said Will Campodonico, ASUO university affairs commissioner. “OUS had the final say on approving the fee.” @@http://www.uoregon.edu/findpeople/person/Will*Campodonico@@
