UO students win business prize
University students Orion Falvey and Oliver Alexander won the silver medal in a contest where the goal is to solve Oregon’s most problematic social issues. This week with a new business plan to get health care to Oakridge, Klamath County and Lake County with a medical van, these two UO students represented the University, and came out with a prize, The Register Guard reports.
Lane County commissioners considering environmental effects of shipping coal through Eugene
The board of commissioners will discuss a resolution today, that will potentially bring economic perks to Lane County by using rail lines to ship coal through Eugene, en rout to Coos Bay, The Register Guard reports.
