Oregon college voter registration drive sets record
The Oregon Student Association stated that close to 50,000 college students registered to vote, more than previous years, reported The Oregonian.
The association lead voter registration drives on 21 Oregon college/university campuses.
Police sketch of sex abuser
Clackamas police are hunting down a sex abuser who attacked a Milwaukie, Ore., woman in September and now have a sketch of the suspect, KGW reported.
The suspect is in his late 40s or early 50s, 5-foot 8-inches, short brown hair, gray eyes and a horseshoe mustache.
Crash on I-5 near Tualatin
A truck driver delivering frozen fish crashed on 1-5 near Tualatin, Ore., after falling asleep on Monday morning, reported KGW.
The crash closed all southbound lanes until noon. No major injuries occurred.
Missing Gresham resident
Police are investigating a missing 21-year-old woman from Gresham, Ore., KGW reported.
The woman, Whitney Heichel, was last seen on Tuesday morning, but failed to show up at work. Her car was found with a broken window and muddy footprints.
