Crews from Matthew Knight Arena and the ever popular Cirque du Soleil have spent the week preparing the arena for this weekend’s performances, according to KEZI.
Shows begin Thursday and will run through Sunday.

Former George Sutton RV employee facing embezzlement charges
Sammantha Louise Perryman, 38, has pleaded guilty to 10 counts of first-degree theft on Wednesday in Springfield, according to The Register-Guard.
Between September 2010 and May 2011, Perryman allegedly stole $1,000 up to 10 times using the company credit card belonging to George Sutton RV.
Northwest Community Credit Union proposes downtown headquarters
Springfield-based NCCU has its sights set on a location near 8th Avenue and Ferry Street for a new building in Eugene, according to KMTR.
The new three to four-story structure would serve as the new headquarters for the company, along with housing a new NCCU branch.
Lane Pregnancy Support Center plagued by thieves
A trailer full of tools was stolen from Lane Pregnancy Support Center, a nonprofit organization on West 11th Avenue, marking the company’s second burglary in three weeks, according to KMTR.
The West 11th Avenue site is currently under renovation, but the process has now been slowed due to the most recent theft, which claimed approximately $10,000 worth of tools last weekend. @@checked all links@@
