U.S. Sen. Jeff Merkley to speak on housing market at University

United States Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., will be giving a lecture entitled “Rebuilding Homeownership: The Subprime Crisis and the Path Forward” in the EMU Ballroom on Oct. 9, at 4:30 p.m., according to an Oregon Law press release.
The lecture is free to the public and will cover topics such as home foreclosure, falling housing prices and the overall housing market.
