The conference debuts of both Arizona and Oregon have been statistically underwhelming tonight in Autzen Stadium. It’s 13-0, after two quarters.
Even though the Ducks have dominated the scoreboard thus far, the Wildcats have found themselves deep in the redzone early and often. Defensive coordinator Nick Aliotti’s squad firmed up each time, even blocking a field goal to keep UA off the scoreboard.
Head coach Chip Kelly has shown some wrinkles in his playbook, debuting a new offensive set featuring backup quarterback Bryan Bennett under center and tight end Colt Lyerla as an H-back running and blocking out of the backfield.
Three quick stats:
Redzone score vs. chances: Arizona 0-4, Oregon 3-3
Rushing yards: Arizona 29, Oregon 135
First downs: Arizona 10, Oregon 16
