University students received an email Wednesday morning with a list of the students, staff, faculty and community members charged with selecting the replacement for the University’s 16th president, Richard Lariviere. Lariviere was terminated by the Oregon University System effective Dec. 28, 2011, and since then, the title of interim president has been held by Robert Berdahl.
The hope is to have a new candidate selected for the position before the 2012-13 academic year.
