The Seattle Mariners prospect played 65 games for the class-A advanced High Desert Mavericks@@above link@@ in his first full professional season and hit .360 on the season with a slugging percentage north of .500. Marder also knocked in 56 RBI. In his two seasons with the Ducks, the Calabasas native hit .232 with seven home runs and 52 RBI.
Marder also played for the Israeli team in the World Baseball Classic with Jewish baseball legend Shawn Green.
