The 112th Civil War will be two days after Thanksgiving, but each team will have plenty on its plate Saturday.
No. 19 Oregon (8-3, 6-2 Pacific-10 Conference) and No. 17 Oregon State (8-3, 7-1) meet for the first time since 2000 as ranked teams, but there’s much more than rankings on the line for Oregon State, especially, which can clinch the Pacific-10 Conference title and a Rose Bowl berth with a win. The Beavers have won two straight in the series after winning in Eugene last year. The game will be televised on Versus at 4 p.m.
“It’s the type of situation that you kind of crave,” Oregon senior center Max Unger said. “Probably one of the biggest games I’ve played in.”
