The Oregon women’s golf team finished its last round of the Pacific-10 Championships Thursday at 81 over par.
Senior Erin Andrews closed out her final conference championship 10 over par and with a top-15 finish.
After starting with a rough first nine holes, Andrews found her stroke during her last nine holes of the final round to tie for 15th. An eagle on the seventh helped the senior shoot a 2-over final round.
Freshman Cathryn Bristow finished her first Pac-10 championship with a 3 over par final round. Bristow ended in a tie for 40th with Oregon State’s Jessi Gebhardt.
The rest of the Ducks finished on rough notes. Sophomore Victoria Wenslow, who shot a 4 over par in the first round, ended the tournament 25 over and in 43rd place. Senior Michelle Timpani closed out her last collegiate tournament with a 26 over par 44th-place finish.
The UCLA Bruins edged out Arizona State for a one-stroke team win. The Bruins finished with a 15-over-par 879 as a team. USC finished third at 27 over par and California ended 32 over par for fourth place.
Washington’s Paige Mackenzie overtook UCLA’s Amie Cochran for first and scored a 3-under-par 69 in the final round. Mackenzie won the Pac-10 women’s championship by four strokes.
