University community members will have the opportunity to soak up some Korean culture when the Korean Student Association hosts its annual Korea Culture Night on Sunday in the EMU Ballroom.
KSA spokeswoman Minnae Choi promised attendees a meal of tasty traditional food and entertainment incorporating Korean films dubbed by University students and interspersed with live skits and demonstrations.
“It’s the one place that students should go to learn about Korea,” she said.
The students will serve bot-sam, a special-occasion dish consisting of meat covered in a spicy and flavorful sauce and served wrapped in lettuce, Choi said.
University students from Korea and with Korean heritage are making a point of reaching out to the greater Korean community this year, Choi said, and representatives from Korean Ducks magazine and the Korean Consulate will be attending.
Tickets, available at the EMU Ticket Office, are $6 for students and $8 general admission and include the price of dinner.
