Oregon’s lacrosse team was honored with nine players named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic Team, Executive Director Al Beaird announced Wednesday.
Senior transfer Brooke Dieringer, a graduate student studying educational leadership, led the Ducks with a 3.87 GPA. She is followed by junior attacker Jenny Browne (3.72 GPA), junior defender Carrie Bateman (3.69 GPA), junior midfielder Kate Fleming (3.60 GPA), junior goalkeeper Anna Poponyak (3.43 GPA), sophomore midfielder Alicia Burkhart (3.26 GPA), junior defender Liora Lobel (3.25 GPA), junior attacker Lindsay Killian (3.19 GPA) and junior midfielder Jen May (3.19 GPA).
The award is the second straight for May, Poponyak, Fleming, Killian, Bateman and Lobel.
