After three long days of golf, the Oregon women’s golf team finished third at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational in Washington. The team posted scores of 307, 290, and 303 for 36-over par. The Ducks were a distant third behind Pacific-10 Conference rivals USC and Arizona State. USC won the team title by nine strokes over ASU, and the Sun Devils outshot the Ducks by nine strokes.
Individually, Kendra Little tied for fourth place with a three-round total of 4-over par. One stroke behind her was Cathryn Bristow, who shot a 1-under on the last day to move herself up into a tie for eighth. Felicia Eastick ended with a 14-over par to her name, good enough to tie her for 32nd. Teammates Monika Graf, Kate Hildahl, and Blair Ressler finished with scores of 19-over, 24-over, and 26-over par, respectively.
The women are back in action next weekend for the Stanford Pepsi Invitational in California.
