The Oregon baseball team (8-8) went 2-2 over the weekend against the Nevada Wolf Pack (6-10) in Reno, Nevada, losing the first and last games of the series.
In game one Thursday, the Ducks had five errors, and lost 6-5 after Nevada scored two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning. Geoff Nichols (1-1) got the loss for Oregon. From the plate Mitch Karraker and Jett Hart both went 2-for-4 to lead the Ducks.
On Friday, Erik Stavert (3-1) went 7.2 innings and got the win. KC Serna got his first save of the year in his first appearance in the 6-5 victory. Eddy Rodriguez went 2-for-4 with a homerun, and Hart was 1-for-4 with a home run.
Caleb Tommasini led off with a home run in game three on Saturday in Oregon’s 3-0 win. Bennett Whitmore (1-2) went eight innings of shut out ball, striking out eight batters on seven hits for his first win of the year. Drew

Madison Boer (1-2) started on the mound Sunday for Oregon, and he pitched eight innings, giving up two runs on six hits. But the Wolf Pack, behind the pitching of Derek Achelpohl, won 2-1. Achelpohl went seven innings, and he gave up one run in the fourth inning. Andrew Schmidt was 3-for-4 with a RBI for the Ducks.
