Briefly explain your platform.
I want to bring professionalism. I’ve noticed a lack of trusts by students in their student government, which saddens and kind of disgusts me to a point.
What qualities and experience qualify you to be an ASUO senator?
My trust from my colleagues that I have received from being an RA this year.
What are your thoughts on the size and purpose of the student incidental fee?
The $350 student incidental fee I think is important because it helps students get programs that are essential to this university. At the same time we have to carefully watch and protect the incidental fee and make sure we’re not raising it just because we can.
How will you ensure that you are representing your constituents’ interests?
I decided to run alone because I didn’t want to be held accountable to a slate; I wanted to be held accountable to the students who voted for me and the student body as a whole.
What are some major issues facing social science students and how would you address them?
A lack of ability to gain help with ideas and programs. I know there are programs I can go to, but compared to other schools there are a lot less.
