Oregon beat Portland State 2-0 Wednesday at Howe Field to open a nine-game homestand, and just days before the Ducks start another round of Pac-10 games from the Bay Area schools. Oregon (11-20) got two fourth-inning home runs from Blair Williamson, then Lindsey Chambers two batters later. The home run was Williamson’s second career home run after hitting her first late last month. On the mound, freshman Samantha Skillingstad threw 6.1 innings and struck out nine batters in her third career shutout. “It’s good to be back home again in front of our fans – I love playing here,” Skillingstad said
