In a hit fest, the Portland Pilots (18-16) swept the season series from the Oregon Ducks (12-21) 12-8 Tuesday night at PK Park.
There were 26 combined hits in the game, with Oregon outhitting Portland 14-12, but the Pilots were able to score eight runs in two innings to distance themselves from Oregon.

Mark Triolo (4-5) earned the win for Portland, going 1.1 innings and giving up two runs on three hits.

Next up for the Ducks is a thee-game series with Pacific-10 Conference opponent California in Berkeley. Game one starts Friday at 2:30 p.m.
