Incident: Suspicious subject Location: Valley River Center When: Saturday, May 9 Time: 3:47 p.m. What: A caller reported a man having an emotional breakdown in the mall, claiming to be an Iraq war veteran and saying he was going to walk through the mall and kill people.
Incident: Dispute Location: 3950 Goodpasture Loop When: Saturday, May 9 Time: 12:51 p.m. What: A complainant called the police saying he had a permit to grow marijuana, but the man whose house where he had been staying for the past three months would not return the complainant’s plants. The homeowner reported that the complainant had not paid rent and was taking items that did not belong to him.
Incident: Fight Location: 1886 University St. When: Saturday, May 9 Time: 11:50 p.m. What: A caller reported five women involved in a physical fight inside the Delta Tau Delta fraternity house; no weapons were mentioned.
Incident: Burglary Location: 19th Avenue and Emerald Street When: Sunday, May 10 Time: 11:13 a.m. What: A caller reported that an unknown male cut the screen of a window on the front porch of a house. While the male entered the house, another male stood on the porch keeping watch. Both males left the house and walked toward Hayward Field carrying a soccer ball and cleats.
