Bike Appreciation Day co-coordinator, Tara Burke (right), informs a UO student about the Critical Mass Bicycle Ride, which takes place on the last Friday of every month at 17th and Charnelton. Critical Mass is a movement that concentrates on promoting healthy transportation, and sustainable energy consumption around the globe.

UO student Noah Rosenau works on one of the 45 bikes currently out on loan from the Outdoor Program. The program, in conjuncture with the Survival Center, is offering bike loans to students in an attempt to increase biking culture around campus.
