Former Oregon wide receiver Jaison Williams is the seventh Oregon player to play in a postseason bowl game after he was selected to play in the Texas vs. the Nation All-Star Classic. The game will be played this Saturday in El Paso, Texas, and Williams, from Culver City High in Southern California, will play on the Nation team.
Williams was a Biletnikoff Award semi-finalist his sophomore season for the top receiver in the nation.
The game begins at noon on the CBS College Sports Network.
Teammates of Williams on the Nation’s roster include Purdue and Rutgers quarterbacks Curtis Painter and Mike Teel and Virginia Tech running back Brandon Ore, while Penn State wide receiver Jordan Norwood and Texas running back Chris Ogbonnaya highlight Texas’ squad.
