Theater arts assistant professor Sara Freeman facilitates a question and answer session in Knight Library with playwright Jordan Harrison and the cast of his new play “Futura.” On Tuesday, Adam Chimeo, Naomi Schwartz, Janet Steiger Carr and Patrick Torelle gave a reading of the play about a society where books have disappeared, people do not know how to write by hand and everything people type is seen by the government. The Oregon Humanities Center and the Department of Theater Arts brought Harrison and the reading to campus in celebration of the “Year of the Book.”
