The Oregon Women’s basketball team (13-6, 3-4 Pac-12) has its sights set on a weekend sweep on Sunday against the Utah Utes (13-5, 2-5 Pac-12) after the team came from behind in a 71-66 victory over Colorado on Friday.
A look at both teams heading into Sunday’s matchup:
— Ruthy Hebard ranks third in the NCAA in field goal percentage at 68.9 percent. Against Colorado she put up her sixth double-double of the season with 19 points and 11 rebounds.
— Against Utah last season, Lexi Bando averaged 20.7 points per game while shooting 52.4 percent from the field and 57.9 percent from 3-point range. She scored 34 points including six 3-pointers in a WNIT matchup vs. the Utes last season. Bando ranks second in the NCAA in 3-point percentage, shooting 53.7 percent.
— Utah’s last win against Oregon was a 66-64 win on Feb. 20, 2015. The Ducks are 10-2 all time against Utah in Eugene.
— Utah’s Emily Potter ranks ninth in the nation in blocked shots with 3.06 per game. Against No. 10 UCLA she put up her Pac-12 best with 20 points.
