Spring term. You certainly picked the right time to be on campus. The hour is ripe with showers, an EMU/SRC survey and, most of all, student programs events. These fertile grounds of spring provide a bounty of possibility.
Please join me and consider the following. In the next few weeks, a plethora of fantastic programming will infiltrate our collective student life. We have a couple options.
We can simply move about as we did in the winter months, mope to and fro from class to class, shuffle from party to party, struggle from bed to campus and back again. Despite the sensuous allure of such riveting activities, I strongly urge you to entertain another endeavor.
Carpe Diem! Seize the day! These next several weeks in our campus experience are about to receive a fantastic shock to the core.
Stay alert, be aware, and keep attention to your environment. Our student condition will be presented with intellectual and entertainment options unfathomable merely a few months ago.
Speakers will grace us with their presence throughout lecture halls. Panelists will be found in all corners of the EMU (yes, all corners). Movie screenings will be happening in a classroom near you. Student unions and associations will be gifting us with some of the best cultural nights and programming events you have ever experienced. The Cultural Forum will be in full force. Student program meetings will be brimming with action across our Duck nation. The annual ASUO Street Faire is bound to delight along East 13th Avenue. To put it mildly, our spring is blooming with adventure. It is time to take flight.
