The only thing more frustrating than the 100 pages of reading you have to do on the weekend is not getting a ticket to the big game. Unfortunately, many students face the same frustration. If you sign on a minute too late, your computer freezes or some annoying error message pops up, well then you’re basically screwed.
But not all hope is lost! Follow these few steps to get ahead of the crowd next for the next game:
1. Be prepared: Log into your ticket account at least an hour early.
2. Befriend a senior: If you are a junior or below, befriend a senior (or any upperclassmen) who can also sign onto your account, giving you double the chance of getting a ticket. The more upperclassmen you know, the more chances you have to get a ticket.
3. Keep refreshing the ticket page. Once it is your time to purchase, the page will change. Enter your student information. Pray to whatever higher being you might believe in that you get a ticket.
4. Open two windows: Use both Firefox and Internet Explorer to sign in for yourself (one is bound to work, right?).
5. If all else fails check for standing room tickets. And get “lost” in the student section.
