Junior guard Garrett Sim had eight first half points while senior guard Jay-R Strowbridge chipped in with seven. As a team, Oregon made just eight shots in the first half on 30.8 percent shooting.
Things did not improve in the second half, as the Sun Devils only continued to build on their lead. Oregon came within six after a Teondre Williams three-pointer at the 8:59 mark, but it would be the closest the Ducks came for the rest of the game.

The Sun Devils finished with an astonishing 16 three-pointers, shooting a crisp 47.2 percent from the field overall. Guards Ty Abbott and Richards Kuksiks each scored 22 points to lead the way, while Jamelle McMillan added 11.
As for Oregon, Strowbridge and Sim were the only players to crack double digits in scoring. The Ducks shot a woeful 29.6 percent from the field, and also missed eight free throws. Sophomore forward E.J. Singler had eight points and 10 rebounds, but hit just two shots from the field.
