In an emergency meeting held on Nov. 28, The OUS voted unanimously to remove President Richard Lariviere from office by Dec 28. Lariviere was told on Nov. 21 that his contract would not be resigned, but he stated in a letter to the student body that he would be willing to serve the remainder of his time as president through June 30. Lariviere now has a month left as president of the University.
