A sea of pink flowed outside of Autzen Stadium and through Alton Baker Park as the 5K run and walk participants brought their positive energy to Eugene’s second-annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on Sunday, October 23, 2011. With 6,000 participants running and walking to help raise $365,000, a joyous atmosphere filled the area around Autzen Stadium as the events celebrated breast cancer survivors, their supporters, and helped spread awareness.
