— For the first time since 2002. Oregon men’s basketball have won the Pac-12 regular season championship. The Ducks captured their first conference title in head coach Dana Altman’s tenure with a 76-66 win at UCLA on March 5. The No. 9 ranked Ducks now have their eyes set on a Pac-12 tournament title. They have a first round bye and will kick off the tournament on Thursday.
— The Oregon baseball team captured its second series of the season with a 3-1 series win against UCSB over the weekend. The Ducks clinched the series with a 13-1 win over the Gauchos Sunday afternoon behind a masterful 13 strikeout performance from starting pitcher David Peterson.
— Oregon’s women lacrosse team returned to Pape Field for its first home match of the season and came away with a dominant 16-6 win over LIU Brooklyn.
— After a disappointing fall season, Oregon women’s golf is off to a hot start in the spring as the Emerald’s Gus Morris writes. The Ducks added to their strong start with a win at the Westbrook Invitational in Peoria, Arizona, and will aim to win back-to-back tournaments for the first time this season when they head to Gainesville Florida.
— Oregon men’s tennis recently cracked a spot in the ITA top-25, and added to their impressive preseason resume with a 6-1 win over Minnesota on March 4. It was the Ducks’ eighth home this season.
— Oregon women’s tennis has flown under the radar this season, but the Ducks are on the verge of earning a top-25 ranking. Oregon defeated Boise State in a 7-0 sweep on Sunday and are currently ranked No. 28 in the nation. It is Oregon’s highest rnaking since 2005.
