Oregon football’s 53-28 win over UC Davis in the opening game of the 2016 season wasn’t enough for a jump in the AP Top 25 Poll, which was released on Tuesday morning.
The Ducks debuted at No. 24 in the preseason poll and remain ranked No. 24 in the second release of the weekly poll.
Alabama remains at No. 1 with Clemson, Florida State, Ohio State and Michigan rounding out the top five.
Other Pac-12 teams ranked include No. 7 Stanford and No. 8 Washington, which leapfrogged from No. 14 after its season-opening win against Rutgers. The Huskies received their highest ranking since 2001. UCLA and USC both dropped out of the AP Top 25 after season-opening losses.
