Gas leak near University Park

UPDATE: 4:30 p.m. — Athletic department spokesman Craig Pintens confirmed both Tristen Wallace and Darrian Franklin were suspended by former UO coach Mark Helfrich in October and remain suspended. A gas leak near University Park at E. 24th and Harris was reported this morning to Central Lane 911 according to the City of Eugene website. The leak was reported at 7:46 a.m.
Police are directing traffic and advising everyone to avoid 24th Avenue between Potter and Kincaid

Oregon volleyball setter August Raskie shines both on and off the court for her athletic prowess and her artistic sense of creativity that makes her who she is. As a result of the University of Oregon’s approach to resuming research activity, Kris Wright, a doctoral student in the journalism school, has been able to go into Allen Hall to work on her dissertation since July. Wright says she feels safe doing so because the campus is currently empty. Many graduate employees are concerned about leading on-campus instruction this upcoming fall due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
