The Oregon women’s lacrosse team travels east this weekend to take on Ohio University in a non-conference match up. The game will be the Ducks’ regular season finale.
The Ducks (4-10 overall, 1-4 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation) and the Bobcats (5-9 overall, 1-5 American Lacrosse Conference) are both coming off losses last weekend.
“This weekend we’re just going to try and piece more of our game together and be competitive for the full
60 minutes,” Oregon head coach Jen Larsen said.
The Ducks have had trouble keeping their intensity up for the duration of games this season.
But Larsen said the problem has been addressed.
“We’ve had some problems maintaining our standard of play for full games this year, but we fixed a ton of these problems throughout the first phase of the season, and things have gotten a lot better,” Larsen said.
