Framed photographs donated by 25 prominent photographers will be auctioned off at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art Saturday. A reception and viewing begin at 5:30 p.m. and the auction will start at 7 p.m.
This will be the 28th annual exhibition and auction, with proceeds supporting the museum’s exhibition programs.
The museum’s Executive Assistant Miriam Jordan said the photos “are all beautiful,” and because few of them have minimum bids, it may be possible for students to afford to participate. The pieces are all currently posted in the south hall gallery and the Susie Pape Reception Hall and can be viewed online at photographyatoregon.org.
No tickets are needed to participate in the event.
