He’s rich, bi-otch! And this Thursday, he’ll be here at the University. Thanks to the UO Cultural Forum, Dave Chappelle will be performing at McArthur Court at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Chappelle has appeared in many comedy films, including “Half Baked” and “Blue Streak,” which starred Martin Lawrence. Chappelle also delivered an unforgettable performance as Ahchoo in 1993’s “Robin Hood: Men in Tights.”
Chappelle is best-known for his sketch comedy show on Comedy Central. He recently broke one-day sales records for TV on DVD titles with his “Chappelle’s Show: Season 2 Uncensored” DVD, which sold close to half a million copies on its May 24 release date. The DVD blew away the competition for a week straight and set the new record for seven-day TV on DVD sales with more than 1.2 million copies sold.
Tickets are on sale at the UO ticket office and all Ticketmaster Outlets. With UO student ID, tickets cost $38.50, but this discount is only available at the UO ticket office. The general public can purchase tickets for $43.50. Limit is four per customer.
