PHOTOGRAPHER
Photographers are responsible for a minimum of five assignments per week, attending weekly meetings, checking in twice a day (once before noon), and will be specifically expected to:
— Check tip sheets posted in news room on a twice-daily basis.
— Communicate effectively with reporters and associate editors for photo possibilities.
— Work effectively with the graphics editor.
— MUST check in twice a day, once before noon.
— Work effectively with the design and graphic department in coordinating photo illustrations.
— Must have flexible schedule and be able to work on-call.
— Attend required staff meetings and desk meetings as announced.
— Set individual goals each term to improve your journalistic skills.
Requirements: Must be enrolled as a student at the University of Oregon when the position begins. Must be able to work about 20 hours a week.
