Creative Writing Program wraps up reading series
Charles Johnson, winner of the National Book Award for his 1990 novel “Middle Passage,” will read from his work today as the final installment of Oregon Creative Writing Program’s 2001-02 reading series.
Johnson will read at 8 p.m. in the Knight Library browsing room. He will also sign copies of his books.
Johnson is the author of five works of fiction, including the novel “Dreamer,” which imagines the final two years of Martin Luther King Jr.’s life. He also wrote “Soulcatcher: And Other Stories,” a collection of 12 stories.
