Roderkus Wright, a backup defensive end for the Oregon football team, was suspended indefinitely Thursday for a violation of team rules, according to Oregon head coach Mike Belloti.
Wright was suspended for the second time this season. Wright missed the first two games of the season for a similar violation of team rules, Bellotti said.
Wright, a sophomore, had notched three sacks, one forced fumble and six tackles in four games of action at backup right end. He had a sack, a forced fumble and a tackle for a loss of six yards in Oregon’s 31-30 win at UCLA last week in the Rose Bowl.
