Tradition will meld with bold, colorful innovation Nov. 1, when Silk Road Music plays the WOW Hall at 9:30 p.m.
Supported in part by a grant from the Oregon Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, the performance will showcase the group’s Chinese music. Instruments include a Chinese lute and Chinese guitar, as well as vocals from opera singers Willy Miles and Feng Jun Wang.
Advance tickets are available for $10 (buy them at CD World, Face the Music, House of Records, Taco Loco or the University Ticket Office), or at the door for $12.
