Well, war is upon us, and to all of you who
protested and rallied for peace, I just have one thing
to say to you. Na na na na na na! But seriously, what
can I say but I told you so.
Do I sound too overbearing for saying that — well,
perhaps, but I’ve come to the realization, as a
columnist for the Oregon Daily Emerald, I won’t ever
agree with what everyone here in Eugene is thinking,
nor will they ever agree with me. So, I’ve decided I
agree to disagree with all of you tree hugging, peace
posse, pot smoking ‘open-minded’ liberals and just
write what I get pissed off about. But also to make
sure I keep the arguments open; after all, I wouldn’t
want you to be tired of me.
But if you still hate me, I know it’s because
you’ve realized that I’m right and you’re wrong — well,
at the very least, we’re disagreeing, and you may hate
me today, but tomorrow you could love what I have to
say.
