The University Assembly met Friday afternoon with the legislative authority to consider voting on an anti-war resolution, but nowhere near a quorum was reached by 3:15 p.m.
The group instead turned to a discussion of an alternate resolution: “Be it resolved that assembled members and friends of the University of Oregon community oppose the U.S. engagement in war in Iraq at this time.”
