Freezing temperatures and frosted ground greeted anglers Saturday morning around creeks, streams and rivers of the Oregon Coast Range. The prize catch, winter steelhead, were few and far between, but fishermen nonetheless enjoyed a day of brilliant sunshine. Fishing is expected to improve when temperatures rise and water levels recede, and anglers from around the state will certainly appreciate more clear weather.
