The Oregon track teams will swing into gear this weekend as both squads compete in their first events of the indoor season.
A handful of athletes, 42 total, from the teams will travel to Seattle for the Husky Indoor Preview on Saturday. It will be the first appearance for decathlon star Santiago Lorenzo since he suffered a quadricep injury last February that kept him out for most of last season.
The women will also send a contingent of pole vaulters to the USATF Pole Vault Summit in Reno, Nev., today and Saturday.
