The end of Spring term is approaching, which could only mean one thing — the Undie Run.
After last year’s success of 500 student participants and 1,000 clothing donations, Emerald Media Group will host its second annual run on campus this Thursday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The Undie Run, consists of a one-mile run that begins in front of the Lillis Business Complex. The run will benefit Hosea Youth Services, a local homeless shelter for youth ages 12 to 22.
Emerald Media Group encourages students to wear the clothes they’d like to donate to the event. Students will remove their donations at the starting line of the race. The race will conclude in the center of the Memorial Quad. Students will get free food from Voodoo Doughnut and Hungry Ducks, receive swag from sponsoring businesses and get to attend a free concert afterwards.
Emerald Media Group is anticipating 600 to 800 students to participate in the event this year. Click here for more information about the 2015 Undie Run.
