The ‘Best of Campus’ winners were determined by a student vote. The winners do not reflect the opinion of the Emerald.
A business professor stands in front of his class and is trying to think of a popular business that his students can relate to. He is tired of using Apple, so he poses a question to his class. “Where is the best burger in town?” The class answers nearly in unison with, “Cornucopia!”
Cornucopia was the run-away winner of the best burger in Eugene — and it doesn’t matter if you go to any of its three locations (17th Avenue and Lincoln Street, East 13th Avenue and Oak Street, or East 5th Avenue and High Street)@@checked these@@, you’ll be satisfied. The food is filling, and the atmosphere is fantastic. With fun seating areas, friendly service and a menu that satisfies everyone, the little burger place has grown to be a local legend for students.
What really sets Cornucopia apart from the fast food places or even other popular burger places such as Dickie Jo’s and Five Guys is the large menu and the size of the burgers. Cornucopia is not just the little hole-in-the-wall restaurant that it appears to be; it has an expansive menu that meets the desires of everyone. It has several different choices that meet every burger lover’s needs, but it also has plenty of chicken, fish, vegetarian and even vegan options. Plus the tasty fries are a great addition to any burger choice you make.
Even though the price may be a bit higher than the other burger options in Eugene, the size of the meal and the superior quality of the food makes the trip to Cornucopia well worth it. The product is well deserving of all the buzz, so if you haven’t made it to Cornucopia yet, don’t waste any more time.
