Oregon’s women’s golf team traveled to Palos Verdes, Calif., this week for the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge. A respectable second round score of 300 moved the Ducks into ninth place heading into the tournament’s final day, but the Ducks shot a 314 on Wednesday and dropped two spots.
The Ducks were lead by freshmen Cassy Isagawa who finished in a six-way-tie for the tenth-best individual with an 8-over-par 221, including a 1-under 70 in the second round. Duke’s Lindy Duncan had the best individual score at 210, four strokes better than USC’s Sophia Popov in second place.
