For something quick and with a bit of a discount (or to catch a game on one of the big screens), this is your place. Though not necessarily catered toward the happy hour crowd, The Webfoot does offer a discounted drink menu … and air hockey. Rennie’s Landing
A little brighter and more open than some of the other bars near campus, Rennie’s offers an extensive happy hour menu and some very notable tater tots. Sunday-Thursday 10-12 p.m. and Sunday-Friday 4-7 p.m. Single well drinks $2.50, Micro pints $3.50, Micro pitchers $8.25, Domestic pints $2.75, Domestic pitchers $6.50
New Max’s Tavern
A little darker and smaller, with all the quirkiness of a pub (check out the portraits all over the walls, and the antique-looking light fixtures) Max’s is a great place just off of campus to stop by for a beer and of course, a basket of buttery popcorn. Every day 4-8 p.m. Import beers $2.50, Domestic beer $1.75, Pitchers $10.
McMenamins 19th Street Café
For those looking for a more food-focused happy hour, this menu has you covered. Cheeseburgers and Garden Burgers are $6.00. Add on some Cajun tots and one of McMenamins signature beers and you’ve got yourself a deliciously filling meal. Every day 3-6 p.m. and 10 p.m.-close McMenamins Ales $3.25, Well drinks $3.50
Agate Alley Bistro
Quiet and intimate, the happy hour at Agate Alley Bistro might be difficult to find seating at on the weekends, but the wait will likely be worth it. With a large happy hour menu of both drinks and food (be sure to try the fries), this happy hour would be good for friends or family, small groups or big. Every day 3-5 p.m. and 10 p.m.-close. $3.50 well drinks, $.50 off pints and wines by the glass, $1.50 off pitchers.
